The 'new look' Community Grants Funding Program, combining the previous Community Grants Scheme and Cultural Development Grants Scheme, will launch this evening at town hall.
The community grants programme is focused on boosting Point Russell 's tourism profile, by supporting local businesses that are focused on arts, artisan food, and tourism activities.
'This is a fantastic programme that will help our local businesses show their creativity and promote our wonderful area at the same time' Mayor Smith said.
The launch will provide an overview of the redesigned funding program and the changes to the application process. The event will also feature the experiences of previously successful recipients and their learnings from the grants process.
The launch will end with light refreshments and the opportunity to share ideas with past recipients and Council Officers.
