Pet festival Promotion is a Flying Success

Pets in the community are getting wound up for this year’s Pet Festival in Point Russell. Frank's Cat Cafe and Pete's Pet Store invites the community (and their furry friends) to come out for a day of exhibits, demonstrations, contests, adoptable pets and more at Point Russell's annual pet festival on Saturday June 26, from 12pm to 4pm.

At last years event both Frank's Cat Cafe and Pete's Pet Store offered discounts on pet adoptions.  Pete's Pet Store ran a significant special on their bird adoptions and in turn bird adoptions were up, almost as if the birds were quite literally flying off the shelves.

Both Frank's and Pete's are looking to run similar specials on adoptions this year to hopefully increase the chances of animals finding their forever homes.  The event will also include seminars on best practice when it comes to animal care, play areas for animals and humans alike to socialize, and many vendors selling animal related products to the locally made in the community.
