North Street Community Herb Garden

The High Street Community Herb Garden is available all year round. Discover, learn and be inspired as you wonder around or come along to a workshop or working bee throughout the year.

Built in 1998, North Street has recently expanded to 52 plots. Located across the street from the East End Elementary School, this community garden is adjacent to the school garden and overlooks Back Bay Cove.

On clear days, gardeners have spectacular views of mountain and orchard surrounds. The gardens have a large selection of planter boxes with seasonal and perennial herbs, and over 20 heirloom fruit trees planted and cared for by elementary students and community volunteers.
